Wamego, KS — Wamego Varsity Lady Raiders could not keep pace with Rock Creek Mustangs 7-5 on Thursday at 1001 Balderson Blvd. Rock Creek Mustangs got on the board in the first inning after Lies hit a solo home run to center field. Rock Creek Mustangs extended their early lead with three runs in the top of the third thanks to RBI singles by Lies and Dye. Wamego Varsity Lady Raiders captured the lead, 5-4, in the bottom of the fourth after Kohlmeier singled down the right field line, Hall singled down the right field line, and Stanley doubled to center field, each scoring one run. Stanley went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Wamego Varsity Lady Raiders in hits. Kohlmeier, Adams, Stanley, Hall, and McCarthy each drove in one run for Wamego Varsity Lady Raiders.
