Saint George, KS — Jovie Coon hit two home runs and drove in seven as Wamego Junior Varsity Lady Raiders defeated Rock Creek 15-13 on Friday. Coon homered in the fourth and sixth innings. Bats blistered as Wamego Junior Varsity Lady Raiders collected 13 hits and Rock Creek tallied 12 in the high-scoring game. Wamego Junior Varsity Lady Raiders opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to three singles. Wamego Junior Varsity Lady Raiders first got on the board when Coon singled, scoring one run. Rock Creek tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to a single by Sallman, a hit by a pitch, and a passed ball. Rock Creek took the lead in the bottom of the second.
