The game was tied at seven in the bottom of the seventh when an error scored one run. Newtown Nighthawks JV lost despite out-hitting Nonnewaug JV Chiefs 10 to seven. Sean Caron led Newtown Nighthawks JV with three hits. Newtown Nighthawks JV got on the board in the top of the first inning after Newtown Nighthawks JV scored on a wild pitch, and Owen Carta singled to center field, each scoring one run. Nonnewaug JV Chiefs tied the game in the bottom of the second thanks to an error, and a double play. A single by Evan D gave Newtown Nighthawks JV the lead, 3-2, in the top of the third. Newtown Nighthawks JV committed an error, which helped Nonnewaug JV Chiefs tie the game at three in the bottom of the third.
