Northampton, PA — Zephyrs JR High 2026 Fall Victim To Northampton JH Rally

Zephyrs JR High 2026 lost to Northampton JH 6-4 on Thursday at Bicentennial Park West even though they once led by four runs.
Zephyrs JR High 2026 was right in it until Northampton JH doubled in the fifth inning.
Zephyrs JR High 2026 got on the board in the top of the first inning after Cole Hansen singled to left field, Shane Attieh grounded out, and Kaden George singled up the middle, each scoring one run.
A single by Attieh extended the Zephyrs JR High 2026 lead to 4-0 in the top of the third inning.
Northampton JH flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fifth, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 6-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a home run to right field by Jayden Swanger that drove in two.
Hansen led things off on the bump for Zephyrs JR High 2026. The starter gave up one hit and one run over three innings, striking out three and walking four. Brennan Schultz opened the game for Northampton JH. The starter allowed four hits and four runs over three innings, striking out one and walking three.
Asher Rutt, George, Attieh, Hansen, and Derek Bashore each collected one hit for Zephyrs JR High 2026. George, Attieh, and Hansen each drove in one run for Zephyrs JR High 2026. Rutt stole two bases.
Jalen Beltran and Swanger each drove in two runs for Northampton JH. Cayden Guilliams went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Northampton JH in hits. Brody Boyle paced Northampton JH with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up six walks for the game.
