Mia Vitello singled, which helped East Haven tie the game at two in the bottom of the second. A double by Isabella Rossetti gave Shelton Varsity Gaels the lead, 4-2, in the top of the third. Sammi Denihan earned the win for Shelton Varsity Gaels. The hurler allowed eight hits and two runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking one. Dakota Clancy took the loss for East Haven. The hurler went seven innings, allowing five runs on eight hits, striking out nine and walking three.
