Wamego, KS — McCarthy collected three hits in four at bats, but Wamego Varsity Lady Raiders lost to Chapman Varsity Irish 14-7 on Tuesday at 1001 Balderson Boulevard. McCarthy hit a home run to right field in the seventh inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the fifth inning.
Chapman Varsity Irish got on the board in the first inning after Martinez homered to right field, scoring three runs.

Cook took the loss for Wamego Varsity Lady Raiders. The starter went seven innings, giving up 14 runs (12 earned) on 13 hits, striking out four and walking one.
