East Hanover, NJ — William Duffy pitched 5.1 innings of shutout baseball and drove in a run to lead Parsippany Hills to an 8-5 victory over Hanover Park in East Hanover.
Duffy struck out six batters and allowed just five hits while walking three in his winning effort. At the plate, he went 1-for-4 with an RBI.
Vincent Dorey led Hanover Park’s offense, going 3-for-3 and scoring twice. Neil DellaTorre added two hits and drove in two runs, while Colin Heinold went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
For Parsippany Hills, Nick Napolitano went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Christopher Dana reached base three times, going 1-for-2 with two walks, scoring twice and stealing two bases.
