Mountain Lakes, NJ — Nick Napolitano scored twice and drove in a run to lead Parsippany Hills to a 9-8 victory over Mountain Lakes in Mountain Lakes. Parsippany Hills (8-7) overcame an early deficit by scoring five runs in the top of the second inning and adding two more in the third. Mountain Lakes (5-10) fought back with four runs in the bottom of the third inning and scored single runs in the fourth and seventh innings as Parsippany Hills held on to win. Jordan Ledesma went 2-for-5 with two RBI and two stolen bases for Parsippany Hills. Christopher Dana added two hits, including a double, and drove in a run while stealing a base. Elian Taverez contributed two hits and two RBI, going 2-for-3 with a double. Chrystian Bouman went 2-for-3 with an RBI, while Patrick Brosnan and Tommy Romaine each added a hit and combined for one RBI for Parsippany Hills. Christopher “Ray” Bayles and William Duffy each had a hit. On the mound, Shriraj Ramani earned the win for Parsippany Hills. Duffy struck out two batters in one inning of work, while Manit Patel recorded one strikeout in 2 and 1/3 innings.
