Jack Long collected three hits in three at bats, as Shelton Freshman Gaels defeated Masuk 17-0 on Wednesday at Nike. Jack Long singled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the fourth inning.
Shelton Freshman Gaels jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Brayden Blohm tripled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, Omar Soto drew a walk, scoring one run, Mason Frascatore grounded out, scoring one run, Jacob Gonzalez singled, scoring one run, and Jayden Pena singled, scoring one run.
Shelton Freshman Gaels added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning when Eric Veloz doubled, scoring two runs, and Omar Soto singled, scoring one run.
A single by Ryan Pearson extended the Shelton Freshman Gaels lead to 12-0 in the bottom of the third inning.
