Fairfield Prep got on the board in the top of the first inning after C Kaldawg grounded into a fielder's choice, and Shelton Freshman Gaels committed an error, each scoring one run. Shelton Freshman Gaels tied the game in the bottom of the second thanks to a walk by Jayden Pena, and a single by Omar Soto. Fairfield Prep took the lead in the top of the fourth inning after Shelton Freshman Gaels committed an error, and D Kalagher singled down the left field line, each scoring one run. Shelton Freshman Gaels made the score 8-5 in the bottom of the sixth after Brayden Blohm doubled, scoring two runs, Jacob Gonzalez doubled, scoring one run, and Jadiel Castillo drew a walk, scoring one run. Brayden Blohm earned the win for Shelton Freshman Gaels.
