Charlestown, MA — Great team win today, 7–5! Our middies really learned just how much running the position takes and rose to the challenge, and we saw some great marking up across the field. The girls stayed focused, composed, and strong—even when there were outside distractions—and represented Chelmsford the right way! Goalies: 1st half Bella and 2nd half Luci. Both girls got in goal today for their first time during a game and gave it their all. We are so proud of you both! Players of the Game: Delaney, Lillian, and Gianna Delaney was one of our Players of the Game for her hustle and determination on midfield. She covered the field with purpose and we really saw things start to click for her today, especially in her positioning and transitions. Her effort made a big impact and set a great tone for the team. Lillian earned Player of the Game for her relentless defensive pressure! She stayed strong on her opponents all game, making it difficult for them to find space or get comfortable. Her toughness and focus were a huge asset to our defense and goalies. Gianna also earned Player of the Game for her hard work and determination in the midfield. She consistently battled to beat her opponents to where she needed to be and did a great job staying aware and marking up when needed on defense.
