Anna Light collected three hits in three at bats in the win. Light doubled in the second inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the sixth inning. Goodrich Varsity Martians got on the board in the second inning after Light doubled, scoring three runs. Alexa Glady took the loss for Powers Catholic. The hurler went six innings, giving up eight runs (four earned) on 12 hits, striking out nine and walking four. Goodrich Varsity Martians amassed 12 hits in the game. Ayannah Jackson drove the middle of the lineup, leading Goodrich Varsity Martians with three runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-4 on the day.
