Goddard Varsity Lions were the first to get on the board in the first when Alberg doubled, scoring one run. Haysville Campus Varsity Lady Colts took the lead in the bottom of the first. Burling doubled, scoring two runs, to give Haysville Campus Varsity Lady Colts the edge, 2-1. Potter doubled to center field, which helped Goddard Varsity Lions tie the game at two in the top of the third. A solo home run to center field by Clements gave Haysville Campus Varsity Lady Colts the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the third. A triple by Alberg gave Goddard Varsity Lions the lead, 5-3, in the top of the fourth.
