Jack Long gave up five hits and two runs over seven innings while walking two. Shelton Freshman Gaels opened the scoring in the fourth after an error scored two runs. Notre Dame West Haven tied the game in the top of the fifth thanks to a single by Nick Riga, and a double by Niko Pellegrino. Shelton Freshman Gaels took the lead, 6-2, in the bottom of the sixth thanks to doubles by Luke Giampalo, Eric Veloz, and Nate Milosico. Niko Pellegrino took the loss for Notre Dame West Haven.
