McPherson, KS — It came down to the wire on Friday, as Wamego Varsity Lady Raiders grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 7-6, over El Dorado Varsity Wildcats. The game was tied at six in the bottom of the seventh when one run scored on a dropped third strike.
McCarthy collected three hits in three at bats in the win. McCarthy doubled in the sixth inning, doubled in the third inning, and singled in the fifth inning.
