Escondido, CA — Offensively for the Cougars the team is starting to really come together as a team led by Shealyn Pistilli finding an early weapon in Payton Dahlstedt with a pass for a 15 yard touchdown scoring her 2nd touchdown of the season and making the extra point was Laila Martinez with a nice catch . Avery Jorgensen and Sophia Trejo also contributing on offense with some nice plays. Priscilla Delgado also with a few catches out of the center position. Defensively we played strong with Sophia Trejo setting the tone with great blitzing . Key plays was an interception by Shealyn Pistilli, and the lady cougars all around are out there giving it their the whole game led by returning defensive player of the Year. Jimena Ortiz.
