Escondido, CA — Cougars get in the Win column with a big WIN in tonight's matchup with Coastal Academy. The lady cougars put up 25 points offensively lead by QB Shealyn Pistilli completing all her passes and throwing 2 touchdowns first one to Avery Jorgensen getting the cougars on the board 6-0. Shealyn also ran in a touchdowns . Rushing for the cougars and also running in a touchdown was Sofia Trejo and rushing for over 50yds. Top receiver was Emily Nuno with some quality catches and a touchdown as she moved the ball down the field . Defensively it was an all around team effort being stubborn and not allowing any points . Interceptions by Shealyn Pistilli and Berenice Hernandez, great rushing up front from Roxanne Kimball and Solid play from defensive Captain Payton Dahlsted. Overall everyone contributed in the cougars first Win of the season.
