La Habra, CA — Sonora loses League opener 6-5 to Troy at home. A 4 run 5th inning for the Warriors was too much for the Raiders to overcome. Down 6-2 Sonora scored one in the 6th and 2 in the 7th but stranded runners on first and third to end the game. Ryan Mize started the game on the mound and went 4 1/3 innings giving up 5 earned runs on 6 hits. Ryan Perez came in relief and pitched 2 2/3 scoreless innings to keep the Raiders in the game.
