Rosemead, CA — ROSEMEAD, Calif. — Sonora continued its strong start to the 2026 football season Friday night, putting together a dominant performance on both sides of the ball in a 45–3 victory over Rosemead. The Raiders established control early and never looked back, combining a productive offensive attack with a defense that consistently kept Rosemead out of rhythm. Sonora's physical play and execution allowed the Raiders to build their lead throughout the night before closing out the game comfortably. Quarterback Levi Santos led the Sonora offense through the air, finishing with 118 passing yards and three touchdowns. On the ground, Gabriel Burgos provided another major contribution, rushing for 100 yards and a touchdown. The Raiders' success was not limited to the offensive side of the football. Sonora's defense set the tone throughout the game, limiting Rosemead to just three points and helping the Raiders maintain control from start to finish. The 45-point performance marked another productive outing for a Sonora offense that has gotten off to a fast start this season, while the defense continued to demonstrate its ability to create stops and give the offense opportunities.
