Temecula, CA — The LBHS Frosh Soph team traveled to Temecula this last Saturday to play the Panthers of Wenatchee, Washington. The game started earlier than expected, and the quarters were only eight minutes long. There was no score in the first quarter, however, on the second play from scrimmage after a low snap, Braden Hansen scrambled 62 yards down to the Panthers 15 yard line. Early in the second quarter quarterback Braden Hansen found Ryder Bright open for a 12 yard touchdown pass. On Washington’s ensuing possession, a bad snap from quarterback left the ball on the turf, and defensive end Keegan Hackett scooped the ball up at the 19 yard line and ran it in for the Breakers second touchdown. The score at halftime was Laguna 13, Wenatchee 0 In the third quarter after another errant snap by the Panthers center, ever alert, Keegan Hackett scooped up a second fumble and ramble this one down to the Panthers 26 yard line. Several plays later Braden Hansen found London Blincoe on a swing pass. London was able to break several tackles and scored the final touchdown of the day. Every player on the breaker team was able to see some action, even with a shortened game. The final score Laguna Beach 20, Panthers 0
