West Covina, CA — As we took on our first test of the fall I believe our boys met the standard with flying colors. We will always have things to work on and refine, but overall we accomplished our goals as a team at this stage in the fall. We will continue to attack the little details in between the lines. Offensively we accomplished all of our team goals and will continue to build off our plan. On the mound we have work to do. Still providing free passes a little more than we would like but they work their butts off weekly to attack the strike zones it will show up in game sooner than later. Defensively we were solid as we should be. We work extremely hard to take care of the ball on routine plays. We were able to put up zeros in 4 of the innings after we scored on the defensive side of the ball. While our goal is to do that 100% of the time we focused on accomplishing that and will continue to work hard in that area. Overall outstanding day as a team for our 1st test of the fall. Keep grinding boys! Together
