Vista, CA — The Rancho Buena Vista Lady Longhorns Varsity won big over Oceanside 12-3 on Wednesday. RBV fired up the offense in the first inning, when Paige Dimler hit a solo homer. Farrah Steffany pitched the Longhorns to victory. She pitched all seven innings, allowing seven hits and three runs while striking out nine. Julia Ceballos took the loss for Oceanside. She allowed 19 hits and 12 runs over six innings, striking out one. RBV had 19 hits in the game. Dimler, Kendall Rosas, Shealee Perkins, and Kalene Walter all collected multiple hits for the Lady Longhorns. Perkins, Rosas, and Dimler each collected three hits to lead Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns Varsity. Ceballos went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Oceanside in hits.
