Cerritos, CA — The Pioneer Titans watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 4-0 loss to Cerritos on Friday. Cerritos scored on a single by Nick Hill in the first inning and a single by Owen Gott in the second inning. Cerritos got on the board in the first inning when Hill singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. One bright spot for Pioneer was a single by Javier Macias in the fourth inning, putting runners on first and third with two outs, but could not capitalize.
