Claremont, CA — The first game of the season was a huge success as the rains stopped and allowed the boys to go out to Claremont to see if they were as good as everyone says they are... and here's a secret, they are! Daniel Ruvalcaba got the go ahead nod to start on the bump and he took care of business, just giving up 1 run and handing the ball over to Myles Farhan with the game tied. #19 did his job throwing a shutout the next three innings and than the bats woke up thanks to Sage, Manny Carrillo & Eliaiz Barriga! To close the game out and secure the squads first "WIN", Mike Gonzalez took the ball and faced 4 batters w/ 2 strike outs and a pop up.... in the end the Huskies won 4-1... heck of a job fellas!!!!!
