Fullerton, CA — The Lady Eagles Varsity Softball team defeated United Christian Academy 12-0 on Tuesday as defense and pitching locked it down. Tori Marvel pitched four strong innings and also led the Eagles with 6 RBI’s, going 2-4 at the plate. Tori drove in runs on a double in the fourth and a triple in the fifth. Tereise Tosi missed a grand slam by one foot as the ball hit the top of the wall for a 3 RBIS double. One of the main standouts to the game was the defensive play of the Lady Eagles. Tricia Arbiola sparked the club with a nice catch in left field. That play was followed by spectacular plays in the infield by Ally Ng and Jackie Quintero. The Lady Eagles did not commit a single error in the field. ECHS is back at it again, playing an away game today at Santa Ana High School. League play begins this Friday at home versus Calvary Chapel Downey. “Powered by Narrative Science and GameChanger Media. Copyright 2019.
