Escondido, CA — After starting the game strong in the first inning, the Lady Patriots struggled in the 2nd and 3rd giving up 5 and 7 (12 total) runs after having 2 outs in each inning. However; they kept their heads high, bats cracking, and were aggressive on the base path and rallied to score 14 in the bottom of the 3rd to take the lead! The 4th inning started with with Hoover being shut down and then Orange Glen scored another 2 runs in the bottom of the 4th, to extend the lead. After the 4th inning the umpires called the game and the Lady Pats started the season with a huge come from behind victory! 1-0 to start the year! Great job ladies!!
