Temecula, CA — The Freshman Elsinore Tigers competed hard on the road in adverse conditions against the Temecula Valley Golden Bears in a game neither team seemingly deserved to win or lose. The offense was led by the throwing of Semaj Moore, the blocking of Mason Miller, Jordan Boyd and Zavier Swoffer, and an outstanding all around performance by Andrew “The Tank” Stankevich. Defensive standouts were Akiem Lewis, Jamari Jones (leading tackler), Cayden Cornelius(who also had a catch and recovered a key fumble on a kickoff), and Gabe Elias, who brought out the “woooo” from both crowds with the best hit of the season so far. Darren Willis nailed a clutch Field Goal on a snap from Jeremy Erikson and hold from Moore in the 4th quarter that proved to pull the tigers from the jaws of defeat. Elsinore will look to take the many lessons learned from this game and put extra care into all the details this week in search of a better result vs. Hemet High School on Thursday. http://www.hudl.com/game/elsinore-high-school-vs-temecula-valley/freshman-football/131266-11578200/box-score
