Fullerton, CA — Troy hosted Northwood on Friday Night, in a low scoring defensive battle. The Warriors defense held Northwood to just 118 yards of total offense, and the Northwood defense countered by only allowing 143 yards of total offense. Northwood capitalized in the first half after a miscue on a Troy punt, and quickly converted the miscue into a touchdown pass. Both teams used field posession strategies to prevent the offenses from getting started, and the pressure from Northwood's defense earned the Timberwolves the victory on Thursday night. Troy looks to rebound this week, traveling on Friday (9/13) to Segerstrom High School (3-0) for their fourth non-conference match-up.
