San Dimas, CA — Coming back from a recent loss against William Jessup, the Royals came ready to break a losing streak by beating Life Pacific in another conference matchup. Hope International outscored the Warriors 93-57, bringing their record to 15-9 overall and 4-8 in conference. Anthony Garcia (JR/Fontana, CA) started the Royals off by hitting the game's first 3 pointer and would go on to score 27 points in the game, leading Hope's offense. Right behind Garcia was Michael fry who shot for 17 points going 8-8 on jumpers and 1-1 on the free-throw line. The Royals took control early and gradually grew their lead over the course of the first half.In the first half, HIU outscored Life Pacific University 52-27. The Royals remained in control of the game through the second half, eventually growing their lead by 44 points over the Warriors.The Royals defense was led by IbeGerlach with eight defensive rebounds and Josh Powell-Davis (JR/Oakland, CA) with seven.
