Game MVP

Honolulu, HI — Referees scored our game 58-0, but the actual score was slightly higher. James Fiame and Zion Ishimine each had rushing TD’s, while DJ Faavi threw for 5 TD’s. Zyren Menor led our receiving corp with 2 TD receptions. Zeki Tuiolemotu, Jayzen Fernandez and Logan Hange each had a TD reception. Coen Mackinney and Maka Hardie also caught passes in the endzone for extra points. On special teams, we nearly broke 3 punts for TD’s and recovered a fumble on one of our kick-offs. The highlight of our game had to be the 2 pick-6’s by game MVP Tamatoa Gaoteote, and our numerous tackles for loss and sacks by our defensive front 7. Brock Birgado also played solid with numerous passes defended, locking down Waipahu’s primary deep threat to 0 receptions on the day.
