Fountain Valley, CA — Our DH1 traveling squad came so close today to notching another victory. We battled the Fountain Valley Barons to a 9-9 tie, only to lose on game count, 69-74😱Every game counts!....a good lesson for our young ladies to learn before (some of them) moving up to JV next season. 8 of our 9 set wins came from game day MVP’s in singles play: Anna Solovjev, Samantha Weinberg and Briana Piermarini. Our final set win came from the doubles team of Alyssa Allado and Hayden Gibson in the 3rd round. A few more games in lost sets or one more set win can make all the difference. Next up: DH1 this Saturday at SMCHS. 11am. DH2 home vs Capo Valley 1pm.
