Elk Grove, CA — Aaliyah Pirkey scored 21 points to lead C.K. McClatchy to a 71-25 victory over Elk Grove on Wednesday. The Lions started fast and wrapped up the half with a 43-13 lead. Pirkey led the charge for CKM's offense, scoring 21 points, with 10 points during the first period. She also contributed two rebounds and seven steals. Kennis Jasperson hit 3 three-pointers and scored 17 points total. Jasperson led the team with 6 assists and 7 steals. One other player also scored in the double digits for McClatchy. Freshman wing Kelley Anderson racked up 12 points. Anderson was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up five rebounds, three steals and one block.
