Ventura, CA — Newbury Park: 10 Buena: 6 The Buena Bulldogs battled in seven innings against the Newbury Park Panthers on Saturday February 15th. This was the first outing for the Bulldogs and all players made an appearance both defensively and at the plate. Hailey Badilla was 2 for 3 with 1 RBI and 1 HR. Olivia Vargas was 1 for 3. Grace Saad was 2 for 3 with 3 RBI's and a HR. Lauren Albrent was 2 for 2 with 2 doubles, a walk, and 1 RBI. Jillian Morris was 2 for 3 with 1 RBI. On defense both Mary Ward and Destanee Perez were in the circle, Destanee had 4 K's with 4 innings pitched. Overall it was a great first game for the Bulldogs and we are excited to see what lies ahead this season.
