Apple Creek, OH — JACKSON 60, WAYNEDALE 35  Emma Dretke had 23 points and seven rebounds for Jackson to lead the Polar Bears to a victory over previously unbeaten Waynedale on the road. Ava Scroggs added 12 points for Jackson. Alayna McMullen was the leading rebounder for the Polar Bears with eight. Jackson jumped out to a 24-9 lead and never relinquished the advantage. The bears were up by 10 at halftime and pulled away for good with two back-to-back 3 pointers from freshman Megan Campbell. Halle Ignacio, Kylie Hawk, and Scroggs led the bears in an outstanding defensive performance against a very good Waynedale offense. Laney Murphy had 14 points to lead Waynedale.
