Canton, OH — The Polar Bears lost a tough Federal League matchup on the road to McKinley. The bears came out strong right away with a steal and layup by Leena Patibandla. Unfortunately, she went down seconds later with an ankle injury. The lady bears battled without her and lead midway through the second quarter (22-17). They went into the half down 6 and couldn’t regain control. Emma Dretke led the way with 15 points, shooting 4-7 from three. Ava Scroggs had 8 points in the first quarter, grabbed 3 rebounds and had 2 steals. Megan Campbell had another impressive game, scoring 11 points and grabbing 3 rebounds.
