Game MVP

LaVerne, CA — ...the Mission is not complete. Southlands Christian Athletics' Mission for all of their teams is to win CIF championships with integrity and honor in the Lord’s eyes. Coach Marvel said after the game, "Our first goal is to win league but we understand that we have much work to do still. We approach it one game at a time and focus on being in the moment. One of the greatest pieces of advice I received was during a Sport's Psych class in college with world-known Professor, Ken Ravizza. He said, 'Be where you need to be when you need to be there.' In other words, enjoy each moment. Focus on where you are at and what you should be doing at that moment. I try so hard to teach the mental side of the game to our girls so that the game itself is not so hard."
