Perrysburg, OH — It came down to the last play, but Mid Michigan College was on the wrong end of a 7-6 defeat to Owens College on Friday. The game was ties at six with Owens singled with bases loaded and an 0-2 count. Jimmy Pierce toes the rubber for Mid Michigan College. Jimmy surrendered three runs on two hits over two innings, striking out three. Chris Campau and Jarrett Inschco entered the game from the bullpen, throwing four innings and one-third on an inning respectively. Mid also racked up 13 hits. Keegan Haynes, Cam Steeves, and Andrew Charters all managed multiple hits for Mid Michigan. Haynes led the way with three hits in four at bats.
