Solon, OH — A walk-off left Mid Michigan College on the wrong end of a 7-4 defeat to Bryant & Stratton on Saturday. The game was tied at four with Bryant & Stratton batting in the bottom of the seventh when Costella homered on a 1-2 count, scoring three runs. Mid Michigan lost despite out-hitting Bryant & Stratton ten to eight. Mid Michigan knotted the game up at four in the top of the fifth inning, when Trenton MacDowell singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Trevor Crawford took the loss for Mid Michigan. The righthander allowed one hit and three runs, walking one. Jimmy Pierce started the game for Mid Michigan College. The pitcher lasted six and a third innings, allowing seven hits and four runs while striking out six and walking one. Mid Michigan socked one home run on the day. Cam Steeves had a homer in the third inning. Mid racked up ten hits in the game. Keegan Haynes and Andrew Charters each had multiple hits. Charters and Haynes all had two hits to lead Mid Michigan College Baseball.
