Muskegon, MI — MS battled the Rockets Tuesday in the cross town rivalry. Although the Sailors came up short 39-43, they fought hard to the end. The growth in this team in just a few days was tremendous. The coaching staff is so excited for the journey ahead and the effort of these young men! The best is yet to come.

Ethan Krueger

Ethan led our team with 4 assists. I’m most proud of his SLIP vs a switch in crunch time for a layup. We worked hard to encourage this not getting to work on it in practice but EK pulled it off at the critical moment. Ethan also fought on the boards with 6 second highest on the team.

Donovan Russell

Donovan had his first Big test vs a rival big man. Dono had 11 points 9 rebounds again shooting 55% from the field. He also added an assist 2 blocks and a steal.

Drew Southland

Drew played his best game this year. His effort was tremendous. Drew shot 62% from the field and made some huge shots. He also drained 2/4 3’s and 3/4 free throws. Way to step up big Drew.
