Performance

Ethan led the Sailors scoring 11 points shooting 5/8 from the field and 1/1 from the FT line tonight. This was in a game where he played limited minutes due to foul trouble. Ethan also bothered their D-2 guards as he took on a tough matchup defensively.

Corey Chapman

Corey sparked the Sailors in the 4th quarter. He hit our first 3 pointer and sparked the team with tremendous effort and 5 points on 2 of 3 shooting and a key steal.

Keegan DeKuiper

Keegan keeps the streak alive adding a charge per game * (bad call v. RP). He continues to play relentless defense. He is the epitome of unselfishness and effort on the court. He does anything the team needs including bodying up a man 9 inches taller tonight!

Demetri Roberson

Demetri sparked the team with deflections, defense and transition offense. Demetri really takes pride in guarding some of the best players on the opponents team. He also had the best blocked shot of the season sending the shot 30 feet with the rejection.

Sailors start strong but Chix too much

Norton Shores, MI — Mona Shores came out strong v. a loaded, veteran Zeeland East team. The Sailors played a great first 8 minutes but the Chix were too strong in the second and third. Proud of my boys in the 4th and 1st quarters. We're still growing. Leading the Sailors was the Ethan Krueger with 11 in very limited minutes due to foul trouble.
