Norwalk, CA — The Pioneer Titans had all cylinders firing on Tuesday, winning big over John Glenn 7-1. The Pioneer bats got off to a hot start in the first inning, scoring 3 runs off Glenns Adrian Zamora. Nick Garcia drove in the first run of the game with a line drive double, scoring Druw Galindo. Druw Galindo earned the win for the Titans. The righty went four and two-thirds innings, allowing zero runs on six hits and striking out six. Nick Garcia threw two and a third innings in relief, recording the last seven outs to earn the save for PiHi. Zamora took the loss for Glenn. The pitcher surrendered seven runs on nine hits over seven innings, striking out nine. Pioneer tallied nine hits in the game. Damon Galindo and Gabriel Stevens all managed multiple hits for the Titans. The younger Galindo went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the PiHi offense. The Titans will look to sweep Glenn on Friday at their home field in Whittier.
