Tuttle, OK — Tuttle Tigers defeated Cache 7-5 on Saturday. Tuttle Tigers took an early lead in the first inning. Ashton Bennight drew a walk, scoring one run. In the top of the third inning, Cache tied things up at three when Fink singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. Tuttle Tigers took the lead for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Braylon Brooks singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs, Emanuel Jeter laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run, and a sacrifice bunt by Nate Windle scored one run for Tuttle Tigers. Jeter took the win for Tuttle Tigers. The southpaw went four and a third innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out nine. Gage Norvell threw two and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen. Norvell recorded the last eight outs to earn the save for Tuttle Tigers. Hodge took the loss for Cache. Hodge surrendered seven runs on five hits over five innings, striking out four. Tuttle Tigers saw the ball well today, racking up six hits in the game.
