Trumbull, CT — After a slow start Fairfield Warde found a way to turn up the pressure on the defensive end. Big steals and stops late in the 4th quarter allowed the Mustangs to leave victorious and maintain their perfect season. The Mustangs were led by David Melson (11pts), Kyle Justo (11pts) and Gerald Jacobs (10 pts). After losing a 4 point lead late in the 4th quarter, Warde stayed strong and had a big layup by David Melson allowing the Mustangs to recapture the lead. Danny Becker had a big steal late which helped secure the game and put the Mustangs on the free throw line. Warde will face Ludlowe again next Wednesday at home in hopes of keeping their perfect season alive.
