Vanden Vikings Varsity put up six runs in the failed comeback. Tyler James, Dekker Smith, Devin Riley, James, and Cody Buckley all picked up RBIs in the rally. Vanden Vikings Varsity fell behind early in the loss. Rodriguez scored on a double by Jason Booker in the first inning, a groundout by Landon Troutt in the second inning, a single by Jack Metcho in the second inning, and a single by Robert Searcy in the second inning.
