Danbury, CT — In the final game of the season Fairfield Warde finds a way to win. The Mustangs had multiple players contribute to what was one of the best freshman records in school history during a challenging year. Warde was led by David Melson (22 pts), Gerald Jacobs (15 pts), Jake Medor (10pts) and Nic Alvarez (8 pts). Although the Mustangs scoring was impressive, it was Danny Becker’s outstanding defense in the 4th quarter which took the Hatters best player out of the game and allowed Warde to get the win. The Mustangs ended the season with a record of 9-1, putting their stamp on a unique season with many challenges.
