Wichita, KS — Goddard Lions Varsity won big over Northwest 9-2 on Friday. Goddard Lions Varsity fired up the offense in the second inning, when Tyler Haskell hit a solo homer. Northwest evened things up at one in the bottom of the second inning. An error scored one run for Northwest. Goddard Lions Varsity pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth Cooper Zimmer grounded out, scoring one run. Goddard Lions Varsity tallied four runs in the seventh inning.
