Whittier, CA — The Pioneer Titans watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 12-0 loss to Norwalk on Tuesday. Norwalk took the lead on a bases loaded walk in the first inning. Pioneer struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Norwalk, giving up 12 runs. In the first inning, Norwalk got their offense started when a player drew a bases loaded walk, scoring one run. One bright spot for Pioneer Varsity Titans was a single by Druw Galindo in the first inning. Nick Garcia started the game for Pioneer. The bulldog surrendered four runs on four hits over three innings, striking out two. Galindo, Adrian Hernandez, and Sean Zepeda-Herrera each contributed in relief for the Titans. Damon Galindo led Pioneer Varsity Titans with three hits in three at bats.
