Cleveland, OH — Mid Michigan College Baseball nabbed the lead late in the game in a 5-4 victory over Bryant & Stratton on Sunday. Mid Michigan trailed 4-2 in the top of the sixth inning when Gavin Smith homered on a 3-2 count, scoring three runs. Jared Sharpe led things off on the pitcher's mound for Mid Michigan College Baseball. The righthander surrendered four runs on five hits over six innings, striking out eight. Mid Michigan launched one home run on the day. Smith went for the long ball in the sixth inning. Mid Michigan College Baseball saw the ball well today, racking up 11 hits in the game.
