Apple Valley, MN — The Blaze sophomore baseball team falls 4-3 in a tight battle with Eastview. They jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the 1st with a 2 run double from Colin Westrum. Eastview came back with 2 runs in the 3rd. Both teams scored a run in the fifth with Eastview scoring 1 in the bottom of the sixth to secure a 4-3 lead for the win. Nick Mueser started the game and went 4 innings with 10 Ks, 4 BBs, and 2 hits. Elijah Lindsey came in relief with 2 innings pitched with 2 Ks, 1 BB and 1 hit allowed. Westrum finished 2-2 with a double and a walk. Eli Keirstead was the only other Blaze to reach base at least twice, finishing 1-2 with a single and reaching on error.
