Savage, MN — Burnsville 9B Freshmen fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-7 loss to Lakeville South on Thursday. Despite the loss, Burnsville 9B Freshmen did collect 13 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Lakeville South had nine hits on the way to victory. Noah Lindsey was on the hill. The bulldog allowed six hits and seven runs over three innings, striking out one. JJ Johnson threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen. Burnsville 9B Freshmen collected 13 hits. Jack Skoglund, Connor Asleson, Adam Krueger, and Reed Schultz all managed multiple hits. Skoglund went 3-for-4 at the plate! Asleson led with two stolen bases, as the team ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.
